Here We Grow | week 4 and week 5

Oh my! Week 4 went by and then Week 5. They actually looked pretty much the same. The crew got the foundation ready for inspections and pouring concrete. Pour was scheduled for Tuesday. You remember Tuesday? We were all still digging out of 16″ plus of snow. You probably looked at the forecast and said, “the weatherman thinks we will have up to 12 inches of snow! Ha ha! That won’t happen this early in the season.” That’s what I said! Well, we were wrong and we had to shovel a lot of snow. The contractor’s crew shoveled off the foundation this week, let it drain a bit, and then carefully put the tarps back on. Next anticipated concrete day: Tuesday, November 3.
